OBJECTIVE
Is looking at supplementing Eskom power with solar power on their property. The Solar system will be designed as a Grid-Tied solar PV solution, producing the building's electricity. The design will be based on the building's load factor, structural qualifications, and feasibility study throughout the year. The introduction of green energy is increasingly becoming the preferred option as part of all developments, firstly in support of saving our planet and secondly because it makes sound business sense.
In the long term, renewable energy is more cost-effective than the Eskom grid energy. By supplementing the Eskom grid power with renewable energy, the demand for the power supply and subsequent generation of fossil fuels is reduced. We propose that the project development value chain be followed in developing the project.
